RENOLIT GP 3 is a multi-purpose lithium grease based on mineral oil, characterised by very good temperature stability, water resistance and good pumpability.

RENOLIT GP 3 contains additives to enhance corrosion protection and resistance to ageing. It is suitable for an operating temperature range from -30°C to +120°C.

RENOLIT GP 3 is classified as K 3 K-30 according to DIN 51 502 and has an NLGI 3 consistency.

Applications

RENOLIT GP 3 can be used as a multi-purpose grease for:

• the lubrication of rolling bearings at temperatures up to approx. 120°C, under medium loads and speeds depending on the bearing size, e.g. in electric motors, machine tools, conveyor systems, processing machinery, hot-air fans, dryers, drying cylinders in the paper industry, in auxiliary machinery in the textile industry, etc.

• lubrication of plain bearings via the supply of lubricant via a Stauffer grease nipple, grease heads or central lubrication systems at temperatures up to approx. 120°C, under medium loads and speeds typical for plain bearings, e.g.&in machinery and equipment, particularly at elevated temperatures and where water ingress occurs or in damp environments, for loaders, excavators, various types of earth-moving machinery, etc.
