TITAN UNIVERSAL HD, SAE 15W-40, is a typical universal engine oil for a mixed vehicle fleet, where it is desirable to use one type of engine oil for all engines if possible. When designing TITAN UNIVERSAL HD, SAE 15W-40, special emphasis was placed on excellent performance in both turbocharged and non-turbocharged diesel engines.

Advantages of Use

• provides wear protection even under continuous load and full engine performance

• prevents the formation of carbon, lacquer deposits, coking, and sludge (including black sludge in gasoline engines) under conditions of high thermal stress and during short-distance operation

• protects against the formation of mirror-like surfaces on cylinder liners (Bore-Polishing)

• prevents corrosion

• reduces wear during cold starts and engine warm-up

• suitable for operation with a catalyst

• does not attack sealing materials

• minimal oil consumption

TITAN UNIVERSAL HD, SAE 15W-40, can be used without problems for filling transmissions or transmission hydraulic systems in vehicles and machinery for which HD class engine oils SAE 15W, SAE 15W-30, SAE 15W-40, SAE 20W-20, SAE 20W-30, SAE 20W-40, and SAE 30 are recommended or prescribed. However, it is not suitable for transmissions with integrated wet brakes.

Instructions for Use

The transition to TITAN UNIVERSAL HD, SAE 15W-40, is possible at any time, even for older engines; "flushing" is not necessary.
In addition to necessary rationalization, this oil provides optimal operational viscosity under all conditions of use, improving system efficiency, hence the desired performance, and thus reducing fuel consumption.
When using high-capacity bypass fine filters, it is possible to program oil change intervals in some cases when using TITAN UNIVERSAL HD, SAE 15W-40.
