Bearings are mechanical components that are an important part of various equipment such as motors, gearboxes, wheels and other rotating systems. Plain bearings work on the principle of sliding between two surfaces that are separated by a lubricant.

Thrust bearings are used to transmit axial forces that act in the direction of the axis of rotation. Radial bearings are capable of transmitting forces acting perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Combination bearings combine the characteristics of rolling and plain bearings for optimum functionality.
