V-Belts ZX
ZX cogged V-belts are a modern variant of the classic Z profile, designed for industrial drives, compressors, fans, pumps, and other machinery. Thanks to their cogged design, they offer greater flexibility and better heat dissipation, enabling reliable operation with smaller pulleys and higher speeds. The ZX profile is based on the standard Z profile (width 10 mm, height approx. 8 mm), but the notches on the underside ensure easier belt bending and higher power transmission efficiency. ZX belts are suitable for dynamically loaded drives and drives with smaller pulley diameters, where a classic coated Z profile could be too stiff.
ZX belts are made of a high-quality rubber compound reinforced with tensile fibers and meet the standards DIN 2215 and ISO 4184. The cut design ensures longer service life and stable power transmission even at high speeds or pulsating loads.
ZX profile variants
- ZX V-belts – cut (cogged) design for flexible industrial drives
- Z V-belts – coated standard design for stable drives
- AVX10 V-belts – automotive variants for auxiliary engine drives

Construction of cut V-belts
ZX cut V-belts are made of a rubber compound reinforced with tensile fibers. Notches on the inside increase the flexibility of the belt and allow for better adaptation to smaller pulleys and dynamic loads. The outer textile cover protects the rubber against wear and tear and ensures stable and long-term power transmission.
