V-Belts 12.7 mm
V-belts with a width of 12.7 mm (12.5 mm) are medium-width industrial profiles and are used for drives in fans, pumps, compressors, machine tools, and other industrial equipment. Thanks to their width of more than 10 mm, these profiles enable higher power transmission with stable belt operation and a long drive service life. Belts of this width are available as SPA coated profiles and XPA cut profiles, which provide greater flexibility and better heat dissipation during operation. SPA and XPA profiles are manufactured in accordance with DIN 2215 and ISO 4184 standards, ensuring standardized dimensional compatibility with industrial pulleys.
12.7 mm belts are suitable for drives with constant or slightly variable loads, where stable power transmission and reliability are required even at medium speeds.
Profiles of 12.7 mm V-belts
- SPA V-belts – classic coated design for standard industrial drives
- XPA V-belts – cut design for flexible drives and smaller pulley diameters

Construction of 12.7 mm V-belts
12.7 mm V-belts are made of a rubber compound reinforced with tensile fibers that transfer the load between the pulleys and ensure length stability. SPA coated profiles protect the rubber against wear, while XPA cut profiles provide better flexibility and heat dissipation. Belts of this width are suitable for industrial drives with constant or slightly variable loads, medium speeds, and standard pulleys.
