MAINTAIN WINTERFIT is a concentrate added to diesel fuel and heating oil to suppress the precipitation of paraffins in cold conditions.

Use

MAINTAIN WINTERFIT must be stored and used at temperatures above freezing. We recommend applying it at temperatures above +5 °C.

Warnings

Cold climatic conditions cause MAINTAIN WINTERFIT to thicken. This is normal behavior and does not affect the product’s properties. For good mixing results, the product should be at room temperature. Warming it up (e.g., in a water bath) may be necessary.

MAINTAIN WINTERFIT must be added before frost is expected. Adding it afterwards, when the fuel has already gelled due to freezing, is not possible! The separated paraffin component can only be dissolved by the application of heat.
