CASSIDA GREASE GTX 2 is a heavy-duty, water-resistant lubricant specially formulated for lubricating machinery in food and beverage processing and packaging. It is based on a complex calcium sulfonate soap, synthetic base oil and selected additives chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry.

The product is registered with NSF (Class H1) for use where incidental food contact may occur. The product is manufactured in accordance with FLT quality standards, in facilities where HACCP and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) have been implemented and which are part of the ISO 9001 and ISO 21469 quality and hygiene management systems.

Compatibility

Compatible with elastomers, seals, closures and dyes commonly used in lubrication systems in the food industry.

Handling and Storage

All food-grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemicals and food from the reach of direct sunlight and other heat sources. The recommended storage temperature is 0 to +40°C. Under these conditions the product can be stored and used for 3 years from the date of manufacture. Once opened, the product must be used within 2 years (or 3 years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first).
