GLEITMO WSP 5040 is a high-performance lubricating spray based on a valuable special complex calcium lubricant and a synergistic combination of high performance white solid lubricants.

• Useable temperature range: - 20 to +140 °C, as a screw paste up to 1200 °C, 

• extreme pressure load capacity,

• low friction values,

• excellent wear protection,

• very good grip,

• very good corrosion protection and water resistance,

• protection against vibration corrosion,

• protection against stick-slip and jamming.

Areas of application

GLEITMO WSP 5040 is used on all types of machine components, under highest pressure, shock loads and/or vibration or oscillating movements. It is used especially in wet environments and under the influence of splashing water. It is used on sliding pairs that are prone to jerking movements (stick-slip) and welding (seizing). It is also suitable for low sliding speed, high pressure and vibration corrosion. The lubricant is also particularly suitable for lubricating chucks and clamping elements.
 
In addition, GLEITMO WSP 5040 is very well suited as an assembly paste and can also be used as a screw paste in the high temperature range up to 1200 °C. 
 

The grease contains a high proportion of solid lubricants and is therefore not suitable for lubricating rolling bearings.

Other typical applications:
Spindles, large valves, slideways, plain bearings, oscillating pins of construction machinery, spherical plain bearings, stainless steel fittings and the like.
