GLEITMO 599 is an innovative special lubricant based on specially formulated perfluoropolyether base oils, thickened with a unique combination of white solid lubricants. It is exceptionally resistant to gaseous oxygen.

Applications

GLEITMO 599 has been developed for initial lubrication and maintenance of oxygen cylinder valves, as well as for equipment used in the production and processing of oxygen. The tested oxygen pressure significantly exceeds 400 bar (at 60°C), making this lubricant a safe and reliable choice for lubricating modern valves across a wide pressure range. Before applying GLEITMO 599, all parts to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned. For cleaning, we recommend using METABLANC PFPE. It is absolutely essential to use completely clean, metal lubrication tools free of any oil or grease residues (e.g., a spatula).
