GLEITMO 599 is an innovative specialty perfluoropolyether base oil lubricant that is thickened with a special combination of white solid lubricants. It is characterized by unprecedented resistance to oxygen gas.

Areas of application

GLEITMO 599 was developed for the first lubrication and maintenance of oxygen cylinder valves as well as for oxygen production and processing equipment. With tested oxygen pressures well in excess of 400 bar (at 60°C), this lubricant can be safely and reliably used for lubricating modern valves over a wide pressure range. Application Before applying GLEITMO 599, the parts to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned. For cleaning, we recommend METABLANC PFPE. It is absolutely essential to use absolutely clean, metallic lubrication tools, free of traces of oils and grease (e.g. squeegee)!

Caution

GLEITMO 599 must not be mixed with other lubricants!
