Cedracon SL, 5L FUCHS

CEDRACON SL is a low viscosity liquid containing graphite, designed for lubrication and preservation of steel wire ropes. The amount of graphite allows the product to be used under considerable mechanical loads. The highly viscous, non-dripping film protects wire ropes.

Use

CEDRACON SL is used to lubricate steel wire ropes subjected to extreme mechanical loads and chemical influences, e.g. in the mining, steel or chemical industries. 

Application methods

CEDRACON SL can be applied manually by brush, dipping or spraying. The best corrosion protection is achieved if the application is made several times in thin layers. Coating should be done 
at regular intervals depending on the operating conditions. Used and soiled ropes should be properly cleaned before applying CEDRACON SL. The product is also available in a spray bottle (400 ml). 

Note

In case of extremely adverse environmental conditions and extreme mechanical loads, we recommend the use of CEPLATTYN 300 before further preservation of steel cables. CEPLATTYN 300 is also available in spray form.
