SILKOLENE CASTORENE R40S is a castor oil based blend containing synthetic lubricants and additives that enhance the natural high film strength of castor oils and their resistance to seizing. This improvement represents a significant advance in vegetable oil-based lubricants and minimizes the risk of thickening and sludge formation.

Benefits

• The inhibitors, based on technology used for aircraft gas turbines, provide stability and resistance to oxidation, as confirmed by laboratory and race tests.

• Oil thickening and varnish formation are reduced even in hot engines, so the oil can be used for longer periods than is usual with castor oil-based lubricants.

• It is fully soluble in alcohol fuels and is ideally suited for use in air- and water-cooled racing engines using methanol or methanol-based fuels.

NOTICE:Much more frequent changes are required for SILKOLENE CASTORENE R40S than for mineral oil enriched additives.

SILKOLENE CASTORENE R40S oil must not be mixed with mineral oils.
