CASSIDA FLUID VP 68 and VP 100 are high-performance fluids specially developed for vacuum pumps used in the processing and packaging of food and drink. They are formulated using carefully selected synthetic oils and additives chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry. CASSIDA products are NSF-certified to ISO 21469 and NSF-registered (Class H1) as lubricants approved for incidental contact with food. They are manufactured in accordance with FLT quality standards, in facilities where HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice audits have been implemented, and form part of quality and hygiene management systems compliant with ISO 9001 and ISO 21469.

Compatible with elastomers, seals and coatings commonly used in lubrication systems in food processing machinery.

Handling and storage

All food-grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemicals and foodstuffs, and away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat. Recommended storage temperature: 0 to +40 °C. Under these conditions, the product can be stored for 5 years from the date of manufacture. Once the container has been opened, the product must be used within 2 years (or within 5 years of the date of manufacture, whichever comes first).
