CASSIDA CHAIN OIL 1500 is a fully synthetic, high performance chain oil with anti-wear additives that has been specially formulated for use in machinery used in the food and beverage processing and packaging industries. It is based on synthetic oils and selected additives carefully chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry. CASSIDA products are NSF certified to ISO 21469 and registered as Class H1 (lubricants approved for incidental food contact). They are manufactured in accordance with FLT quality standards, in facilities where HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice audits have been implemented and form part of ISO 9001 and ISO 21469 quality and hygiene management systems.

Handling and storage

All food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemicals and foodstuffs and away from direct sunlight and other heat sources.

Recommended storage temperature 0 to +40 °C. Under these conditions the product can be stored for 5 years from the date of manufacture. After opening the packaging, the product must be consumed within 2 years (or 5 years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first).
