CASSIDA GREASE EPS 2 is a high-performance, extreme pressure-loading grease that has been developed specifically for machines used in food and beverage processing and packaging. It is based on synthetic oils, a complex aluminium soap and selected additives carefully chosen for their ability to meet the stringent requirements of the food industry.

The product is NSF certified to ISO 21469 and registered as Class H1 (lubricants approved for incidental food contact). The product contains only ingredients meeting US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182 (components approved for incidental food contact).

Synthetic lubricant

Contains no natural products derived from animals or genetically modified organisms. It does not contain allergens or their derivatives as defined in the Annex to EU Directive 2003/89/EC. Suitable for use in the production of vegetarian foods. Biostatic, does not stimulate the growth of bacteria and fungal organisms.

Health and Safety

Based on the available information, CASSIDA GREASE EPS 2 does not pose any risk to human health and safety when used for the recommended application and the principles of occupational safety and hygiene are followed. As with all oils, avoid prolonged and repeated contact of the lubricant with the skin.

Handling and storage

All food-grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemicals and food from the reach of direct sunlight and other heat sources. A suitable storage temperature is 0 to 40°C. Under these conditions, the product can be stored and used for 3 years from the date of manufacture in the original packaging intact. Make sure the container is clean before opening. It is recommended to wash it first with potable water and dry it with a clean cloth. Make a note of the date on which the package was opened. To avoid contamination of the product, it is advisable to close the container immediately after use with the lid. Once opened, the product must be used within 2 years (or 3 years from the date of manufacture if earlier).
