Renolit S2, 400g FUCHS

RENOLIT S2 is a grey coloured grease based on a lithium thickener. It repels water, is oxidation stable, protects against corrosion and exhibits excellent low temperature properties. The raw materials used to produce RENOLIT S 2 grease are very resistant to low temperatures and can cause discolouration of non-ferrous metals at temperatures above + 90 °C, or attack rubber seals, plastic seals and similar materials. For this reason, it is recommended to test for metal discolouration and swelling of sealing materials before using RENOLIT S 2.

Use 

Renolith S 2 is suitable for lubricating small, high-speed rolling and plain bearings or precision bearings where the number of operating revolutions is greater than the limiting speed due to its low dynamic coefficient of friction. limit specified by the rolling bearing manufacturer for grease lubrication, even at low and highly variable temperatures. 

Examples of applications

Small motors, apparatus, machine tool spindles, electrical apparatus used in low temperatures and special climatic conditions such as aviation safety equipment, refrigeration machinery, air conditioning equipment and communication equipment.

Storage conditions

When stored in the sealed original packaging in a dry place at temperatures between 0 and +40°C, the lubricant has a minimum life of 36 months. Due to its low dynamic coefficient of friction, RENOLIT S 2 is suitable for the lubrication of small, high-speed rolling and plain bearings, or precision bearings where the number of operating revolutions is greater than the rolling bearing manufacturer's limit for grease lubrication, even at low and highly variable temperatures.
