CASSIDA FLUID GL 150 is a high-performance gear oil providing excellent wear protection. It is designed for lubricating enclosed gears used in food and beverage processing and packaging.

The oil is made from carefully selected synthetic components and additives that meet the strict requirements of the food industry. It is registered with NSF as class H1 (lubricants approved for incidental food contact) and complies with USDA FSIS (1998) guidelines. It contains only components approved under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620, and 182.

Synthetic Lubricant

• Does not contain animal-derived ingredients or genetically modified organisms.

The oil is registered with NSF as class H1 and complies with USDA H1 (1998) guidelines for lubricants where incidental food contact may occur. It contains only components approved under US FDA 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620, and/or US 21 CFR 182. In case of accidental food contact, the product concentration should not exceed 10 ppm (10 mg/kg of food). Where no specific legal limits exist, this limit is recommended. At this concentration, it does not alter the taste, smell, or color of food and has no adverse health effects. For safe use, apply only the necessary amount of lubricant and minimize food contact.

Environmental Protection

Dispose of used lubricants and empty containers in accordance with applicable legislation. Do not pour lubricant into sewage, soil, or water.

Health and Safety

Based on available information, CASSIDA FLUID GL poses no health risks if used as recommended and with proper workplace safety measures. Avoid prolonged and repeated skin contact.

Handling and Storage

Food-grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemicals, and food products, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. The recommended storage temperature is 0–40°C. Under these conditions, shelf life is 5 years from the date of manufacture in the original unopened packaging.

Before opening, check the container’s cleanliness. Cleaning with CASSIDA FLUID PL and/or potable water followed by drying with a cloth is recommended. Record the opening date of the container. After opening, use within 2 years (or within 5 years from manufacture, whichever occurs first). To minimize contamination, always close the container with a lid after use.
