CASSIDA FLUID GL 150 is a high performance gear oil providing excellent wear protection. It is designed for lubricating enclosed gears used in food and beverage processing and packaging.

Oil is made of carefully selected synthetic ingredients and additives that meet the stringent requirements of the food industry. It is registered with NSF as Class H1 (lubricants approved for incidental food contact) and meets USDA FSIS guidelines (1998). It contains only ingredients approved under US 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and 182.

Synthetic lubricant

• Contains no ingredients of animal origin or genetically modified organisms.

The oil is registered with NSF as Class H1 and meets USDA H1 (1998) guidelines for lubricants where accidental food contact is a concern. It contains only ingredients approved under US FDA 21 CFR 178.3570, 178.3620 and/or US 21 CFR 182. If incidental food contact occurs, the product concentration should not exceed 10 ppm (10 mg/kg food). In locations without specific legal limits, it is recommended that this limit be observed. Up to this concentration, it does not cause a change in the taste, odor, or color of food and has no adverse health effects. For safe use, apply only the necessary amount of lubricant and minimize contact with food.

Environmental protection

Dispose of used lubricants and empty packaging according to current legislation. Do not pour lubricant into drains, soil or water.

Health and Safety

Based on available information, CASSIDA FLUID GL does not pose a health hazard when used as recommended and in accordance with workplace safety principles. It is recommended to avoid prolonged and repeated contact with the skin.

Handling and storage

Food grade lubricants should be stored separately from other lubricants, chemicals and foodstuffs, away from sunlight and heat sources. The recommended storage temperature is 0-40 °C. Under these conditions, the shelf life is 5 years from the date of manufacture in the intact original packaging.

Check the cleanliness of the container before opening. Cleaning with CASSIDA FLUID PL and/or potable water and drying with a cloth is recommended. Make a note of the date of opening the container. Once opened, use within 2 years (or 5 years from manufacture, whichever comes first). To minimize contamination, always close the container with the lid after use.
