RENOLIN PG series oils are fully synthetic high performance polyalkylene glycol (PAG) based gear oils with the best possible anti-aging and EP properties. Excellent low temperature behaviour, high VI and very low friction coefficient values. Excellent protection against micropitting. The low coefficients of friction make RENOLIN PG oils particularly suitable for applications with a predominance of shear friction, such as worm gears. RENOLIN PG oils exceed the requirements of CLP-PG class according to DIN 51517-2 and according to ISO 12925-1:CKC, CKD, CKE, CKT. They are not miscible or compatible with mineral oils. Approved by major gearbox manufacturers.

Use

RENOLIN PG gear oils are particularly suitable for lubricating gearboxes, worm gear/rolling and plain bearings subjected to high mechanical and thermal loads. Especially at high sliding speeds (e.g. worm gearboxes), RENOLIN PG series oils offer advantages compared to mineral-based gear oils. Due to the high oxidation stability, the oil change interval is extended, which reduces maintenance costs even at high operating temperatures. The use of RENOLIN PG series oils in worm gears (steel - bronze) leads to a significant reduction in friction and wear.
RENOLIN PG series products can also be used for paper machines, calenders, conveyors or milling tool bearings. Temperatures up to 200°C are temporarily permissible.

Note

RENOLIN PG series oils are not tolerant and miscible with mineral oils, ester oils or polyalphaolefins (PAO). When switching from a polyglycol based oil from another manufacturer, compatibility must be tested in advance. It is recommended that the system be thoroughly cleaned and flushed with RENOLIN PG fluid before changing the oil. Compatibility with elastomers, varnishes and coatings should also be checked before use. Bearing and gear manufacturers' specifications must be followed. In general, these oils cannot be used for contact with aluminium under dynamic friction conditions.
