Application

When using MAINTAIN DOT 5.1, follow the vehicle manufacturer's specifications. Do not use MAINTAIN DOT 5.1 where a silicone-based or mineral oil-based fluid is specified (e.g., LHM, DOT 5).

MAINTAIN DOT 5.1 is miscible and compatible with all conventional branded brake fluids of the same performance level. However, mixing with other fluids is not recommended in order to take full advantage of the properties of MAINTAIN DOT 5.1. A complete fluid replacement is recommended when switching to MAINTAIN DOT 5.1.
