The high dry and wet boiling points of TITAN DOT 514 LV brake fluid exceed the requirements of FMVSS No. 116 DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1, ensuring reliable functionality even during prolonged braking and at high brake system temperatures. Its low viscosity enables quick activation, meaning that safety systems such as ESP and ABS operate effectively even at low temperatures. Thanks to its advanced BluEV technology, TITAN DOT 514 LV meets the requirements for hydraulic brake systems in conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

Application

When using TITAN DOT 514 LV brake fluid, vehicle manufacturer recommendations must be followed. It must not be used in braking or hydraulic systems where petroleum- or silicone-based fluids (e.g., LHM or DOT 5) are specified. TITAN DOT 514 LV was originally developed for conventional applications but also meets the requirements of selected hybrid and electric applications as specified by manufacturers. The BluEV technology thus bridges the gap between existing and new lubricant applications.

TITAN DOT 514 LV is compatible and miscible with common branded brake fluids of the same technology or specification. However, to fully benefit from its features, mixing with other fluids should be avoided. A complete fluid change is recommended when switching to TITAN DOT 514 LV. In case of contact with skin or vehicle paintwork, wash thoroughly with water.
