GLEITMO 900 is a slip-resistant, air-drying lacquer based on an inorganic binder. The effective lubricating component with the highest pressure load capacity consists of a synergistic combination of solid lubricants with a predominance of molybdenum sulfide. After curing at room temperature, a well-adhered, dry, sliding film is formed on all materials.

Areas of application

The main areas of application are low sliding speeds and high loads. The exception is break-in processes. In general, tests with GLEITMO 900 are recommended when lubrication with oils or greases is not possible due to high temperatures or when dry lubrication is otherwise required.

Method of application

Aerosol packaging of GLEITMO 900 is the simplest method of application. In addition, the drying time is reduced from approx. 30 min to approx. 5 min. With higher consumption, it is more economical to apply using low pressure air and high pressure airless spraying equipment. For a larger number of small parts, dip coating is more practical. Brush or roller application is only recommended for uneven film thicknesses when spraying or dipping is not possible.

Note

Stir well before use! Shelf life in the original sealed container is up to 24 months at room temperature.
