PLANTOSYN 3268 ECO is a rapidly biodegradable hydraulic fluid based on synthetic esters (HEES according to ISO 15380). PLANTOSYN 3268 ECO has been specially developed for stationary and/or mobile hydraulic systems operating in hazardous areas, such as water protection zones, where the environment must be protected from the harmful effects of oil spills.

Use

PLANTOSYN 3268 ECO is recommended for hydraulic systems where engine and/or hydraulic oils of appropriate viscosity grades (SAE 5W, SAE 10W, SAE 15W, SAE 20W, SAE 20W-20 or ISO VG 32, 46, 68) are prescribed. PLANTOSYN 3268 ECO is a shear-stable, multi-grade hydraulic fluid with an extremely high viscosity index that retains its multi-grade character throughout the life of the oil.
When changing from mineral oil to PLANTOSYN 3268 ECO, the prescribed change procedure according to ISO 15380 must be followed. For operational reliability, all oil filters should be cleaned (metal, mesh) or replaced (paper) after 50 operating hours following the oil change. The recommended operating temperature is -35 to +90°C.
